Tomorrow is Olivia’s last day of Preschool before Easter Vacation, so they are having a little party. Olivia’s contribution for everyone is baby carrots, so her mom and I decorated them just a bit.

You and your daughter are a rare breed – you make carrots look fun! I think little ones might love munching on these over jellybeans (that would leave more jellybeans for me 😉 ).
So many schools are moving to healthy snacks/choices now. When my kiddies attended pre and elementary school – bake sales were retooled and came out the other end as snack sales with very little baked goods and more carrots…but none looked like your adorable, orange bunny bits 🙂 I hope the girls enjoy their spring break – I have a sneaking suspicion they will!
Happy Thursday to you, Fawn.

The kids got jellybeans, too, each color representing part of the story of Easter. Olivia ate all hers, but I am hoping the slip of paper with the meanings attributed to each color survived for reference! Olivia loves baby carrots and often chooses them as part of her “healthy lunch” at home (they talk about healthy lunches a lot at preschool). I was definitely pleased with how they turned out — and they were SO easy! – Fawn

I have a weakness for all things Easter candy. When I was little, I woke early on Easter morning, I found and ate all the Peeps. I had to give my brothers the jellybeans from my basket to even things out.
Olivia is a smart little lady 🙂

Such a perfect, and healthy, snack — and rabbits love ’em! I gave up most sugar last October, and I must say that while I like all the healthy alternatives, what I really miss from candy is the great packaging! So your decorated packages certainly makes those healthy little carrots look even that much more appetizing — and fun! Good for you! 🙂

I am such a candy fiend that giving up sugar would really be a stretch for me (although I did give up caffeine, including chocolate, during my pregnancy with Georgia, making 9 months feel like 3 years). Thanks to Close To My Heart, I have plenty of paper crafting toys at my fingertips to make packaging fun and easy. And Georgia is my willing cohort in creating things for the girls. – Fawn
