I’m still digging through the stack of papers I brought home from Mom’s earlier this week, while I’m supposed to be packing the car for the doll show and sale. Here’s a quickie piece of memorabilia for all you Disney fans out there.
The note from Walt Disney on the front says,
Welcome to Disneyland U.S.A. We hope that your visit with us today will be a happy and memorable experience for you and your family. This ticket book is your passport to many wonderful adventures in the Magic Kingdom. May your day at Disneyland be a pleasant one. Return and visit us again soon.
The only ticket left in the booklet is a “B” ticket, which was valued at $.25 and good for the Main St. Cinema, the Astro-Jet and Art of Animation Exhibit in Tomorrowland, and Sleeping Beauty Castle, Mickey Mouse Club Theatre, Casey Jr. Circus Train, Midget Autopia, and Motor Boat Cruise in Fantasyland. We used all the others (I think this was Daddy’s ticket book.)
Those truly were “the good old days”!
