My granddaughter Lily’s dance recital was this evening, and she has come such a long way since this time last year.  While exciting, the stage at the L. J. Williams Auditorium was a familiar place, and her confidence showed in her shining eyes and huge smile.

Several friends from church came, too, and she glowed in the warmth of their presence and support (oh, and from the 106 degree weather).  Once again I am grateful for friends and family who go out of their way to appreciate this child.  They are truly special.

I took a few pictures during rehearsal today, and although I was a bit far away and the girls were all moving, I’ll share a couple.
