I am a 60-something feminist with opinions on nearly everything! My main passions are my granddaughters Lily and Olivia, connecting children with books and reading, and playing in the soil. I have just joined Close To My Heart as an Independent Consultant, after 10 years with Creative Memories. I love telling family stories, and helping others to share theirs. I don’t have all the answers — I don’t even know all the questions — but I have a lifetime of ideas and random thoughts to share. I hope you enjoy my insights.

Just found your delightful blog today. I was born and raised in Visalia and know exactly where your parents were married. Your post about the wedding using vintage buttons was wonderful and intriguing. Looking forward to reading more about your joys of being a grandmother cause that is what makes my little world spin too. Have a blessed thanksgiving.
Blessings from Arizona,
Dorothy

I have no problems with the term “feminist”. In fact I’m a firm believer that you can’t love anyone unless you first love yourself. Young need a strong inspirational force in their life in order to believe they’re important, they mater. Keep up the good fight.
