This is a real quickie tonight, as my husband-who-lives-across-town is having surgery in the morning and I am the designated chauffeur. Because he is first on the schedule, we have to report to the hospital at 6:00 a.m. (aka zero dark thirty). So my late-night blogging time has vanished tonight.
The good thing is that his best friend volunteered to come to town for a couple of days to ride herd on him post-surgery, which means that I won’t need to. Not that I wouldn’t have, but it is nice to have someone else visiting.
Tomorrow is the last day of school here, so a summer of possibilities awaits. More later.

I hope your husband has a speedy recovery. Last year on this date, I had surgery. The good news is I am well and my prayers are for your husband to be well, too.

Thank you, Cathy. His surgery went very well, and he is safely home in his apartment with his best friend heading to the store for Jello, soup, etc. for the next couple of days. I am glad your surgery was successful. – Fawn
